We have really been focusing on responsibility in band. Responsibility not only means coming to lessons on time and bringing your instrument, but preparing your music for rehearsals. All band students should be writing their weekly homework in their planners. I send their classroom teachers a list of what students need to prepare for Friday rehearsals for students to write down in their planner at the beginning of the week.
